What is cPanel and how do you access it?

cPanel is the administration interface for your hosting account. It provides the tools available to that account without granting full server-administration access.

Common tools

  • Manage website files, domains and databases.
  • Administer email accounts when mail is hosted within that service.
  • Review storage and resource usage.
  • Use the backup, security and configuration tools available with your plan.

Options depend on the service. A Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace mailbox is not necessarily managed in cPanel, even when its domain is registered with Nuagerie.

Open the correct account

  1. Visit your Nuagerie Client Area.
  2. Open the relevant hosting service and use its cPanel access option when available.
  3. For a direct connection, use the HTTPS address supplied for that service and its corresponding cPanel credentials.

The usual secure cPanel port is 2083. Use the hostname provided for your service so its certificate can be verified. Do not enter your password through an unencrypted HTTP address.

If access fails

Your Nuagerie client account, cPanel account and WordPress account may use different credentials. Check which account you are opening. If a certificate warning appears or access fails, retain the message and contact support. Do not bypass the warning to submit credentials.

The official cPanel documentation explains the interface’s features.

A panel for daily tasks, a team to help you move forward

You can use cPanel for everyday tasks while relying on Nuagerie for the hosting environment. If your goal is to publish a site, create a mailbox or prepare a backup, describe that outcome in your request. Our team can guide you to the relevant tool and account.

Before changing an existing site, review our backup guide. If you are planning new hosting, tell us about your website and requirements so we can help match the service to the applications you use.
